A cinema date goes wrong. Or does it? The story depends on the language you choose. Experience the same event from a different point of view with "date date date EN+JP" version where Japanese and English lines are swapped!

This is a very short visual novel in a tiny 160x100 resolution, using only 16 colours, made with flickgame.org in under 6 hours. An entry for #flickjam 2025, a game jam where games must be within a maximum of 16 slides, in 16 colors, and a 320x200 canvas.

Still love the idea of getting the same story from two points of view. I can read very little Japanese, so I didn't really suspect what the other point of view was going to be like (although there were hints). A small plot arc, but it did work within the limited panels!
